All About Justin Hofstadler
Work Philosophy
My name is Justin Hofstadler, and I am a freelance videographer based out of San Diego, California. I recently graduated from Colorado State University in August with a degree in journalism and media communication. One of my goals in life is to make others happier. I believe that I can do that through my video production abilities.
Photography and videography have always been hobbies of mine. After enrolling in a 100 level media communications class my sophomore year, I realized that I could make my hobby into a career. Ever since then, I’ve been extremely passionate about my work. My first gig as a freelancer was to document the humanitarian efforts of a non-profit organization building orphanages in Uganda and Kenya. This was an incredible experience and showed me that my work can make a difference in the world. I have experience working in remote locations and thrive when “run and gun” shooting. Adaptability is an important skill for any videographer. I’m very adaptable and would make a great addition to any production team.
Throughout years of building my media production skills, I have had the opportunity to work on many different projects. The most prominent of those being NBC’s The Today Show. I consider myself to be a jack of all trades, and specialize in aerial video. I’m easy to work with and always respect my coworkers. I am extremely versatile and would love the opportunity to help tell your story.
